Memory Made Me, Photos of Sean Cronan

Sean Cronan has been the head cheese at the Zoo York factory as their staff photographer for the last four years. He has been skating for about the last 24 years and shooting photos for 15 of them so he has quite the portfolio. His first published photo was a center fold in Thrasher of Jim Greco and since then he has traveled all over the world capturing endless photos some of which you have probably seen in magazines and not... even known. The opening reception for this exhibit is Friday June 3, 2011 from 6-9 pm at Channel 1 located at 220 State St in New Haven, CT. Memory Made Me is a free exhibit on display until August 7, 2011.

There is an after party at Cafe Nine from 9-1 am featuring music from Chuck Treece and McRad, The Boardlords, & The Vultures. Raffles all night long with prizes from Zoo York and Channel 1. The after party is 21+ and the door charge $5.

Chuck "Chuck" Treece (born June 30, 1964) is a session musician and professional skateboarder from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His credits include starting the 1980s skate punk band McRad, remixing songs for Amy Grant and Sting, playing the bass line on "The River of Dreams" by Billy Joel, filling in on drums at a Pearl Jam concert, and touring with Urge Overkill and Bad Brains. In 2010, he was awarded a Pew Fellowships in the Arts.

The Boardlords have been recording and performing for the past 8 years up and down the East and West Coast, at such venues as 2002 Summer X-Games in Philadelphia, Skatopia in Ohio, The U.S. Open of Snowboarding at Stratton, VT, and a brief tour of Northern and Southern California and Heavenly, Nevada as well. They have played at both the Winter X-Games back when it was at Mt. Snow in VT, and the summer , they also played locally at CBGB's, The Continental, Arlene's Grocery and Trash Bar, as well as at The Westchester County Roller Girls season opener for 2008.
